Balu, a new Pecan and Livestock venture in the Bulawayo area of Zimbabwe, sought an identity that shed light on the precise science behind the maintenance and management of a modern pecan nut farm.
The icon was inspired by a lowercase letter ‘b’, combined with the concept of growth and prosperity. The organic nature of the icon feels spontaneous, yet it is grounded by a perfect circle – highlighting the balance between nature and science. Green was used for its ability to act as a signifier of growth and nature. The result is a clean, confident brand that is easy to manage and control.
